Hotel Casa Ortiz

This hotel is the most modern & comfortable of all of Cuidad Valles. The room was lovely & large. The bed was super comfortable. The shower pressure was perfect & water was hot .. just what you need after adventuring out in the jungle. The owner is one of the loveliest I’ve met in my travels she went above and beyond trying to help me with a clothing issue I had. She is so nice & charming. Beautiful inside & out. The young lady who checked us in the morning was pleasant and accommodating we arrived a lot earlier than expected at 7am and checked us in smoothly! I was so grateful. The other front desk staff was just ok not very helpful. This is the best place to stay in Cuidad Valles. Highly recommend. On a side note - try tacos huichol delicious food!

Great hotel with a great pool that is very easy to find. The theming of the room "numbers" is so cute and the layout of the hotel is very cozy. 10/10

This place is a little gem. I loved it. The owners are very hospitable and great service. The afternoon shift is awesome. Lalo, Esperanza and Vanessa were the best. My stay here was wonderfuwonderful.

Amazing hotel.its look luxury.the reception looks like a 5 stars hotel.the pool is nice.the orner is familier and very friendly.across the street you can drink a bier by the son in his bambu hotel too.i never saw such a great place like a Paradise.i wpuld come back if it isnt not so far from Germany;-)

Es un hotel pequeño, muy tranquilo y con una ubicación bastante céntrica, a menos de 10 minutos caminando está el mercado Valles donde se puede desayunar y comer riquísimo y a un muy buen precio, venden toda la comida típica del lugar. Además el hotel cuenta con restaurante y alberca (siempre está muy limpia y sin tanto cloro), el personal siempre fue muy atento y amable con nosotros. Las habitaciones están bien equipadas y muy limpias. Totalmente recomendado.

Good hotel from the start. Rented three rooms for a family of six adults. Pleasant reception area. Friendly staff. Lots of eateries within a 5-15 minute walk including an Oxxo for ice, water, beer etc and a small downtown area. Rooms are air conditioned - just remember to close the bathroom door for a cooler room. The pool is a nice extra as well as the mangos off the trees. Hotel restaurant Kapul across the street is super convenient. Rooms vary in size and layout. Housekeeping does an okay job but never swept or mopped the floor. Only one towel was changed after requesting new towels. Wi-Fi Internet was often out so watching TV (Netflix) sometimes not possible. Overall - the hotel was pretty good. It was cute, quaint and we felt safe. Take in consideration Ciudad Valles is a small town in a developing area. We used the hotel as a launchpad to our tours and water adventures so it served its purpose well.

Nice and well-located hotel, spacious and clean rooms. One part is still under construction, making that area quite dusty. The swimming pool is nice, although the water is hot. Staff is mostly friendly except for one lady, who is the definition of grumpy and won't lift a finger for you.

Loved it! What a charming place hidden on a grubby side street in the middle of nowhere Ciudad Valles. Lots of small rooms in winding paths, none it seems are the same. Good AC, comfy beds, nice washrooms. Lovely little pool, good for a dip in the hot, HOT weather there. Staff are all friendly and attentive. Across the street is their restaurant (and more rooms, with playground equipment and tiki rooms and areas) which was fantastic. And they'll bring drinks across the street to you poolside for a small charge. Had dinner and breakfast there a few times, always good. We stayed there one night and then later in the tour we landed at a terrible hotel, but they made room for all 17 of us and we were back again the next night. The relief for all of us to be somewhere we knew and loved was palpable. Would totally stay there again in a heartbeat.
